David Stanfill’s new Halloween Music album is a playful, heartfelt celebration of everything that makes October magical. Designed to be completely kid‑friendly while still delighting adults, this collection of songs captures the wonder, imagination, and gentle spookiness that define the Halloween season. From creaking front porches and glowing pumpkins to costumes, candy, and moonlit laughter, these songs are meant to wrap families in the spirit of Halloween—turning every October evening into something special.
This album isn’t about fear or fright, but about fun. It celebrates Halloween the way many of us remember it: a time when the nights felt bigger, the world felt mysterious, and imagination ruled. Whether it’s playing softly while carving pumpkins, setting the mood for a Halloween party, or becoming the soundtrack to trick‑or‑treat preparations, this album is built to return year after year, eventually becoming part of your family’s own Halloween tradition.
From the Author
Growing up, Halloween was just as important to me as Christmas and Easter. It wasn’t just a holiday—it was an event. The costumes weren’t bought and forgotten; they were planned, dreamed about, and worn with absolute pride. The nights felt electric, the air smelled different, and every porch light promised adventure.
In my early twenties, that love only grew stronger. I began creating elaborate decorations, slowly transforming our home into what neighbors eventually called “the Halloween house.” Each year, the displays became bigger, more detailed, and more joyful—not meant to scare, but to invite people in and remind them how fun Halloween can be when it’s filled with creativity and community.
These songs have been living in my head and heart for over twenty years. Some were just ideas at first, others fragments of melodies waiting for the right moment. Recently, everything finally came together, and I was able to record them the way I always imagined—playful, spooky, and full of warmth.
This album is made for children, but I promise adults will find themselves smiling, tapping along, and maybe even remembering their own childhood Halloweens. My hope is that these songs become part of your October rituals—played while decorating, laughing, and making memories that will last long after the candy is gone.
Happy Halloween, everyone. May your nights be cozy, your pumpkins bright, and your music just spooky enough. 🎃✨
